On a Mac running El Capitan, I am pretty up to date in my CC apps. I have a strange thing happening. If I open an Adobe file (AI, Pshop, ID) from Bridge or in the Finder it opens and I see the little black arrow appear under the "Ai" icon—if it's an Illustrator file, of course, but it's the same for all apps—as it should. If I open another AI file the same way another Ai icon pops up on my dock with the little black arrow. It appears from the Dock that I have two versions of Ai running. If I look in Activity Monitor, sure enough there are two AI apps running. If I open a third file I assume that yet another Ai app would open on the dock, but I haven't tried that yet. I cannot drag a file from Bridge to the first open Ai app and have it open. I can't right click and select open. When I do, my right click menu gives me the option of three identical Ai apps. I only have one. Any ideas as to what is happening? Thanks, MH Brown
